Fondazione Gianni Bonadonna, with Prada Group as supporting partner and in collaboration with the European School of Oncology, confirms for 2026 a new edition of an international post-doctoral fellowship in honor of Gianni Bonadonna, a leading figure in the Italian and international panorama of oncological medicine.
Gianni Bonadonna deeply influenced the approach to cancer therapy of entire generations of doctors, in Italy and around the world. With this in mind, this Fellowship program is intended as an effective contribution to train physician-scientists committed to therapeutic innovation in oncology for patients affected by cancer.
The new call for applications is addressed to physicians enrolled in the last 18 months of graduate programs specializing in medical oncology or hematology, and for neo-specialists within two years of receiving their degree. The application is also open to participants of the 2025 edition not selected as winners, provided that eligibility criteria are still met. The fellowship will enable the recipients to broaden their expertise in research by studying abroad for a one-year period in an international center of excellence in oncology. Applications can be sent from June 3rd until July 21st 2026.
