FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM

During his outstanding career, Gianni Bonadonna trained generations of oncologists in Italy and abroad. Inspired from his attitude of mentorship, Fondazione Gianni Bonadonna pursues the education of young doctors willing to get involved in therapeutic innovation in oncology, in order to create a network of excellence and new opportunities for the patients’ benefit.

This goal will be pursued through the endorsement of “fellowships” on topics such as clinical and translational research and therapeutic innovation, to be conducted in a network of international laboratories and centres of research, to train a new generation of physician-scientists in oncology and for oncology.

FELLOWSHIP “Gianni Bonadonna” 2026

Fondazione Gianni Bonadonna, with Prada Group as supporting partner and in collaboration with the European School of Oncology, is pleased to announce the edition 2026 of the post-doctoral Fellowship Program in honor of Gianni Bonadonna.

The Fellowship “Gianni Bonadonna” is addressed to young medical doctors enrolled in the last 18 months of their specialty school in oncology or hematology in Italy, and to medical doctors who have been certified in oncology or hematology in Italy within 24 months before the application. The application is also open to participants of the 2025 edition not selected as winners, provided that eligibility criteria are still met

Winners will spend a one-year period in international research Institutions.
